Howard hell-bent on promotion

On-loan midfielder Brian Howard is confident that Sheffield United can be promoted to the Premier League this season.

The 24-year-old moved to Bramall Lane on loan from South Yorkshire rivals Barnsley last month and has called on his team-mates to forget last weekend's defeat to Reading when they face Charlton on Saturday.

"This squad has enough to go up without a doubt. You've only got to look at our bench to see that," Howard told the Sheffield Star. "In fact, you've only got the look at the quality of some of the lads who can't get into the squad at all on matchdays at the moment."

"If we can just get the little things right then we'll be right there. I want to get to the Premier League and that's why I joined Sheffield United."
