Manchester City striker Benjani Mwaruwari does not feel threatened by talk of big-money signings arriving at the club in the near future.
Juventus goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon and Arsenal defender Kolo Toure are the latest players to be linked with City, while Blackburn striker Roque Santa Cruz's name continually crops up having previously been signed by City boss Mark Hughes when he was Rovers manager.
However, Benjani is relishing the challenge new arrivals will bring. "The more I play with great players the better I will get, that is how I look at it," the Zimbabwe striker told the Manchester Evening News.
"If you have good players around you it encourages you to work harder and to improve your own game.
"To be around top players is where we all want to be and the more that come in the better for us, for the club and the supporters.
"There is no point worrying about who might come in and who might not come in - just get on with the job.
"You have to be strong mentally and up for the challenge."
