Leaders Wycombe bounced back from their shock FA Cup defeat to non-League Eastwood in emphatic fashion as Magno Vieira scored twice in a 4-0 win against Macclesfield.

Peter Taylor's side are now seven points clear of second-placed Bradford with Angelo Balanta and Leon Johnson also getting on the scoresheet.

A poor Macclesfield performance was summed up when defender Paul Morgan and goalkeeper Johnny Brain collided with each other to allow Vieira to score his second on his full league debut for Wycombe.

The Brazilian forward opened the scoring after 10 minutes with a neat finish from just inside the area as the home side came roaring out of the blocks.

Just before the break Balanta grabbed a brilliant second, firing home an unstoppable shot following a mazy run.

Vieira capitalised on the defensive howler between Morgan and Brain in the 52nd minute as Wycombe showed no sign of letting up. And they grabbed a fourth goal after 70 minutes when defender Johnson tapped in after the hapless Brain had spilt Lewwis Spence's free-kick.
