Burnley midfielder Joey Gudjonsson is confident that none of his team-mates will be tempted away from Turf Moor in the January transfer window.

With the Clarets riding high in the Championship attention has been drawn to their top players, and the likes of Chris Eagles and Chris McCann have being linked with moves to the Premier League.

But Gudjonsson believes they will remain with the club and told the Lancashire Telegraph: "We should definitely try to keep hold of our best players, and I'm sure they will stay because all of the players, and staff as well, are really enjoying the work we're doing."

He added: "I can't see any reason why those players would want to leave, unless Manchester United came knocking on the door!"
