Bees eye Bowditch stay

Brentford are still trying to secure an extension to Dean Bowditch's loan spell from Ipswich.

The frontman's initial stint came to an end following last weekend's draw with Lincoln, and boss Andy Scott admits he has yet to strike a new deal with the Championship club.

"We'd like to keep Dean and he'd like to stay, but there are a number of factors," said Scott. "I've spoken to Ipswich but it's not just about what they say, there are financial considerations for us too."
