Villa agree Heskey fee

Aston Villa have confirmed they have agreed a £3.5million fee with Wigan for striker Emile Heskey.

The England player is due to arrive at the club's training ground later on Friday to discuss personal terms but Villa envisage no problems subject to the 31-year-old passing a medical.

The deal will see Heskey link up again with Villa boss Martin O'Neill, under whom he made his name at Leicester.
