Letheren in Rovers switch

Published Add your comment

Barnsley goalkeeper Kyle Letheren is set to complete a loan move to Championship rivals Doncaster.

Letheren has made just one appearance for the Tykes since joining in the summer of 2006, but has been a regular for the reserves.

He is required at the Keepmoat Stadium as Ben Smith looks set for a lengthy spell on the sidelines after injuring an ankle in training.

The understudy to Neil Sullivan has been ruled out for the foreseeable future, leaving manager Sean O'Driscoll to bring in Letheren on an emergency loan.
