Lockwood makes Bees move

Published Add your comment

Colchester defender Matt Lockwood has joined League Two side Barnet on a one-month loan deal.

The 32-year-old left-back has yet to break back into the Us first team following a three-month lay-off due to tendinitis and moves to Underhill in a bid to build up his match sharpness.

Lockwood, who joined Colchester from Nottingham Forest in the summer, should be in the Barnet squad which travels to Wycombe on Tuesday night.
