Canaries holding Croft talks

Published Add your comment

Norwich remain in talks with winger Lee Croft over extending his contract at Carrow Road.

Croft is one of a host of players out of contract this summer but Canaries manager Bryan Gunn is hopeful of persuading him to stay.

He said: "Talks are ongoing with Lee. We'll have another chat with him over the weekend and we all hope that they are positive."

Gunn hopes to bolster his squad further when the emergency loan window reopens next week.

"We have to convince players that they'll get games and make us a better team, so that's something that between now and Tuesday morning we will be trying to do," he added.Í
