Watford too good to turn down - Cowie

Watford midfielder Don Cowie has insisted that he had no hesitation in moving to Vicarage Road.

Cowie signed for the Hornets on deadline day for a nominal fee from Inverness Caledonian Thistle and is keen to get going in the Championship.

He said: "I had quite a few offers in Scotland but as soon as I was made aware that Watford were interested in me I had to come south."

He added: "I'm a big football fan and I watch English football all the time. I'm delighted to get the opportunity."
