Norwich have appointed former goalkeeper Paul Crichton as their new goalkeeping coach.

Crichton joins the Canaries from Brighton where he has been coaching since the summer of 2007 and replaces Tommy Wright.

Manager Bryan Gunn told the club's official website: "I've known him from his time at the club when he was understudy to Robert Green."

"We want someone to continue to develop not only the first-team goalkeepers but those in the academy and I know he is looking forward to putting a development programme in place."
