Spanish midfielder Jordi Lopez has joined QPR on a three-month deal.
The 27-year-old was a free agent following his release from Real Mallorca in December. Lopez began his career playing for the Barcelona and Real Madrid B sides before moving to Sevilla, where he made 37 starts and scored twice for the Andalusian's.
Lopez told the club's official website: "Being a creative player doesn't mean I can`t handle the fight and the more physical side of the English game. I am ready for that and just want to get on with doing my best for QPR, because I know there is not much time for me to adapt, as there`s only three months left of the season."
Manager Paulo Sousa added: "Jordi is a very, very capable player and will give us great options in the middle of the park."
