Stoke defender Carl Dickinson is set to return from a loan spell at Leeds after the League One side's clash with Hereford on Tuesday.

The 21-year-old left-back has impressed during his short stint at Elland Road, making five starts since his arrival in mid-January. However, he is now wanted back at the Britannia Stadium, where he will look to add to his three Premier League appearances for Stoke.

Manager Tony Pulis told the Sentinel: "He's done very well over the past month according to the reports we've been getting. We're grateful to Leeds for giving him that chance but now we think it's the right time to bring him back here because Carl is very much a part of the future of this club and we want to get him involved again."
