Knee op keeps out Fagan

Published Add your comment

Hull forward Craig Fagan faces a short spell on the sidelines after undergoing minor knee surgery.

Fagan, who has already missed three months of the season with a broken leg, will sit out at least the next two games.

Hull face Tottenham in the Barclays Premier League on Monday with Sheffield United visiting in an FA Cup fifth-round replay three days later.

The news on Fagan - who could be back in contention to face Blackburn a week on Sunday - comes just a day after record signing Jimmy Bullard was ruled out for the rest of the season with a serious knee injury.

Manager Phil Brown said: "Fortunately for us it was not that major and hopefully Craig will be back on the training ground on Monday or Tuesday next week."
