Leeds manager Simon Grayson has decided not to offer Northern Ireland international Keith Gillespie a contract at Elland Road.
The 34-year-old winger, whose contract at Sheffield United was cancelled by mutual consent last month, had been hoping to impress Grayson sufficiently while on trial.
Fellow trialists, former Celtic defender Mo Camara and an unnamed Australian defender, have also completed an unsuccessful trial at the club.
Camara has now joined Scottish Premier League side St Mirren.
