Derby defender Miles Addison will discover if his season is over on Monday.
The 20-year-old is due to see a consultant to determine whether he requires surgery on a foot injury picked up during last week`s 4-1 win over Blackpool at Pride Park.
Initial scans were inconclusive but fears remain he has suffered a stress fracture and could need an operation that would rule him out for the rest of the campaign.
Meanwhile, Nacer Barazite will also see a specialist about his shoulder injury.
The Dutchman, on a season-long loan from Arsenal, will return to his parent club for consultation after dislocating his shoulder in the 3-1 win over Nottingham Forest on Saturday.
