Bristol Rovers first-team coach Paul Trollope was in upbeat mood after his side claimed a 1-1 draw at League One rivals Carlisle.
Graham Kavanagh lashed in a 30-yard stunner in the fourth minute, but Rovers were allowed back into the game nine minutes later after slack defending presented Northern Ireland international Jeff Hughes with a gift he duly accepted.
Trollope said: "It was another good performance. Things didn't go quite right for us, although we created some very good situations."
He added: "On another day we would have had three or four goals. We knew they would come at us and they certainly did.
"I was pleased with the way the players bounced back after that early wind-assisted goal.
"No-one was to blame - it was a fantastic strike. We were pleased with the middle part of the game which we controlled for long spells looking very accomplished going forward."
