Nottingham Forest defender Wes Morgan has agreed a new long-term contract with the club which will run until the summer of 2012.
The popular 25-year-old is the latest player to commit his future to Forest, with Nathan Tyson and David Perch both agreeing new deals in recent weeks.
Manager Billy Davies told the club's official website: "We are delighted with the news. Wes is a player who gives everything for this football club and wears his heart on his sleeve every time he goes onto the field."
He added: "Although he has a lot of games under his belt he is still a young man and I`m looking forward to working with him and helping him improve as a player still further."
