Plymouth defender Marcel Seip has revealed he is playing through the pain barrier in an effort to steer the club away from relegation danger.
The 26-year-old Dutchman revealed that while a scan showed problems on both sides of his hernia, the club's medics are at a loss to explain why he is in pain.
"The problem is becoming so bad that I can hardly walk the day after a game and running on the pitch doesn't help my injury either," he told the club's official website.
"Hopefully I can carry on for the rest of the season and then I'll be able to find out what is causing the pain."
