Brentford have signed rookie striker Sam Williams on loan from Aston Villa.

The 21-year-old arrives at Griffin Park on an initial one-month deal and will go straight into the squad for Tuesday night's visit of Barnet.

Bees boss Andy Scott moved for Williams, who has also had spells with Colchester and Walsall this season, after Nathan Elder was ruled out for the season with a fractured cheekbone and eye socket.
