Blackpool caretaker boss Tony Parkes is confident his side will stave off the threat of relegation from the Coca-Cola Championship.

The Seasiders have collected four points from their last two games but it could have been six had they held on for victory at Sheffield United on Tuesday.

Parkes said: "We were disappointed as we thought we may have got a win, but the pleasing thing was we played well. We will stay up, I have to believe that."
