Derby's Paul Green is focusing on recovering in time for pre-season training after a successful operation on a broken metatarsal in his right foot.
The former Doncaster midfielder will miss the rest of the season after suffering the injury in training last Friday and a screw has been inserted into his foot to aid recovery.
The 25-year-old, who is recovering at home following Tuesday's operation, told the Derby Evening Telegraph: "The surgeon came to see me before I left hospital and said he was happy with the way the operation had gone."
He added: "I'm still gutted to have picked up the injury but now my focus is on being fit and ready to go when pre-season training starts."
