AC Milan starlet Gianluigi Donnarumma produced a heroic performance in front of Juventus legend Gianluigi Buffon last night.Unfortunately for the 18-year-old, his stellar displayed, which included 10 saves and a fine double stop, accounted for nothing as Juve ran out 2-1 winners thanks to Paulo Dybala's last-minute penalty. But Milan have reason to feel aggrieved after Mattia De Sciglio was adjudged to have handled Stephan Lichtsteiner's cross in the game's closing stages.Milan supporters were livid with the decision, and let the feelings be known on social media. Milan striker Carlos Bacca also had to be restrained from going after referee Davide Massa, which forced Milan boss Vincenzo Montella to apologise on the striker's behalf."Everyone has their interpretation and I want to apologise for the situation at the end, as that is unforgivable," Montella told Mediaset Premium, via ESPN FC."Massa told me he took the responsibility of giving the penalty. I am told he was far away and couldn't have seen it. I prefer not to talk about referees, even if on days like this it becomes difficult!

"Complaining doesn't get you anywhere. It's pointless. We have to focus, stay calm and accept that referees do make mistakes. We can only hope that the errors go in our favour."

Juventus extended their lead at the top

Mehdi Benatia opened the scoring for the hosts but it looked as if Bacca's equaliser moments before half-time would be enough to secure a point for Milan.

That was until the 97th minute, when Dybala smashed home Juventus' winner from 12 yards.

The result leaves Milan seventh in Serie A, while Juventus extended their lead at the top to 11 points.

Donnarumma was superb

Despite the loss, it did no harm to Donnarumma's growing reputation. The teenager was unfortunate to be on the losing side after an inspired performance.
