Half-time substitute Keith Andrews struck to rescue a point for relegation-threatened Blackburn in a 1-1 draw against West Ham at Ewood Park.

Andrews had only been on the pitch for six minutes when he lashed home a right-foot shot from a tight angle to cancel out Mark Noble's 35th-minute opener for the Hammers.

Rovers, who had two El-Hadji Diouf efforts ruled out for offside, pushed for a winner with Benni McCarthy, Jason Roberts and Morten Gamst Pedersen all coming close.
