Arsenal fans reveal a stunning level of hate for one of their own players

Not a lot seems to be going right for Arsenal at the moment. Having been dumped out of the Champions League by a rampant Bayern Munich, the internal war between the club's fans over the future of Arsene Wenger is turning uglier every week.

Not only that, there is still the matter of tying Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil down to new deals, with the former's behaviour continuing to be a problem.

With an FA Cup tie with non-league Lincoln City expected to give the fans a little something to shout about, a big number instead turned their frustrations towards one of the club's other midfield maestros.

Aaron Ramsey has never had a bad word said about him. While undeniably talented, his career has hit the skids on a number of occasions thanks to a series of injuries – both minor and major.

And despite hitting the Imps for five on Saturday evening, it seems that the fans were less than impressed with the efforts of the Wales international.

Having returned to the starting line up from yet another lay off, you'd have thought most would be glad to have him back in action, but instead they couldn't seem to wait to hammer his performance.

This was exactly the kind of fixture that he would have needed in order to get back up to speed with the rest of the squad, but instead he just couldn't produce any of the magic that the fans and the management had come to expect of him.

So they wasted no time at all in getting on his back and letting everyone know exactly what they thought of him.

Granted, he should have done better against opposition like that, but some of the comments he received were way over the top.

Scroll down and see for yourself...

Many have already expressed a desire to see Ramsey leave the club in the near future, believing that Wenger's training methods are one of the reasons he keeps picking up so many injuries.

And if this is the kind of support he can expect from now on, we wouldn't be surprised if he followed their advice and moved on.
