Since the WWE Draft last year, there has been a contest between Monday Night RAW and SmackDown Live over which can be the better show and grab the most ratings.
Arguably, many believe SmackDown is better than RAW right now as it has better in-depth storylines and superstars, which therefore bring in more ratings and fans.
However, everyone has their own reasoning as to why the blue brand is currently hitting the red brand out of the water in the WWE.

RAW general manager Mick Foley believes SmackDown Live is liked more than Monday Night RAW due to it having one less hour to fill out creatively, while Becky Lynch believes it is “more free” and “less uptight” than their Monday night counterparts.
Dean Ambrose is the next superstar up to throw in their two cents on the situation, as the Intercontinental champion gave his opinion as to why SmackDown is currently better than RAW during an interview with Planeta Wrestling. Go to 4:50 in the video further down in this article for his answer.
He said, according to Cageside Seats: "I think SmackDown has proven that - I've certainly never looked at it like I want to beat RAW or a competition thing. You have to take a certain pride in your work.
"I think that SmackDown, and knowing that we've gotten so much great feedback from the company saying 'You guys are doing real good, you guys are becoming - we see the audience grow, we see it every week at the live events the crowd is really into the feuds and the rivalries.'
"As a locker room we may beat each other up every night but I think there's been a big swell of pride in the SmackDown locker room. Just a really good group of guys, it's one of the best locker rooms I've ever been a part of, it may be the best locker room I've ever been a part of.
"Even guys that are out there punching each other in the face every night we're kind of on the same team in some ways because we all take great pride that the show started as a new show, on a new night, and it's a live show. We take a lot of pride that we really created something good, I think we all take a little bit of ownership in that."
Competition or not, it is clear as day right now that WWE fans are preferring what they're seeing each week on SmackDown compared to what they're seeing on RAW for a number of different reasons. Whether that be because of the superstars involved, or the storylines being portrayed. Maybe there are problems in the RAW locker room that we just don't know about.
However, with a rumored draft to be coming up later on this year, the dynamics of both shows and locker rooms will be changed once more, which could potentially shift superstars and fans perceptions of RAW and SmackDown again.
