The NBA can be a tough sport for fans of the road team. If you're one of those diehard fans who has enough guts to rock all your gear at an opposing arena and cheer for your team, there's no question that you're probably going to hear it from the fans of the home team.

If not, well, good for you. From past experience, though, it's not always the easiest of things to deal with. For one Houston Rockets fan, who was posted up right near the team's bench while wearing a James Harden jersey, it's likely that he had to listen to everything that all the fans behind him were shouting toward the team's bench.

The good news for the young fan is that he not only got to see his team play in person (with awesome seats) but he also got a nice present after the game from one of the NBA's best players. Via ESPN's Sarah Spain:

Oh, and if that wasn't cool enough for you, the reaction from the kid apparently was pretty awesome as well. Fan Gregory Gosman was also at the game, and he said that the fan had an amazing reaction.

Here's a picture he snapped of the aftermath of the excitement, and it's probably a pretty safe bet that the fan is using that phone to either tweet, text, or Instagram the fact that he just met James Harden.

Overall, it seems like a pretty awesome experience for the Rockets fan, especially since his team rolled past the Chicago Bulls 115-94 in this game, and he got to see Harden drop 19 points, 13 assists and grab seven rebounds. Harden is right there in the mix for the Most Valuable Player award this season, but he's quickly proving why he's not only an amazing player but a fan favorite also. Good for you, James, good for you.
