The FA Cup clash between Chelsea and Manchester United threw up the interesting battle between N’Golo Kante and Paul Pogba in midfield. The two Frenchman were signed by their respective clubs in the summer and they both bring very different qualities to their side.Kante is probably the best defensive midfielder in the world right now and has been crucial for Antonio Conte’s side as they seek a domestic double. Meanwhile, Pogba is the world’s most expensive player but has often struggled to live up to his £89 million price tag.And there was only one winner on Monday at Stamford Bridge - and it wasn’t Pogba.Kante was magnificent throughout the 90 minutes and scored the only goal of the match to send Chelsea through to the last-four of the competition. He deservedly picked up the man-of-the-match award and everyone was quick to congratulate him after the match. And that includes Pogba himself, who gave his compatriot a big hug after the final whistle - something which demonstrated the massive height difference between the pair.Pogba also gave his former Juventus boss and Chelsea manager, Antonio Conte, a warm greeting following the match. But United fans aren’t happy with Pogba’s behaviour.United’s defeat means that, after already winning the EFL Cup, their hopes of achieving a cup treble this season is over. And they weren’t impressed with Pogba joking around with Conte and Kante immediately after the loss.

Pogba's behaviour

Take a look:

United fans are fuming

And here is the reaction from the United fans:

To be honest, we feel United fans are being a bit harsh on Pogba for interacting with his former boss and his fellow countryman after the game. Ok, he maybe shouldn't have been smiling and laughing but we're sure he's as devastated as the next United player after the loss.

Despite getting bullied by Kante during the 90 minutes and not acted disappointed after the match, his manager, Jose Mourinho, was extremely happy with him.

Mourinho thinks Pogba was 'Man Of The Match'

In fact, Mourinho believes that Pogba was the best player on the pitch at Stamford Bridge. No, really.

"We have to be positive, the players were phenomenal but Pogba was by far the best player on the pitch," Mourinho said.

"He was a giant on the pitch. After him, all my other boys were fantastic.

"The specialists will say a lot about him and it comes from envy.”

Hmmmm, we don’t think anyone will agree with you on that one, Jose.
