From being the host of WrestleMania XXVII to an impromptu match against Luke Harper at WrestleMania 32 last year, the Brahma Bull is never far from the grandest stage.

So with WrestleMania now closer than ever, some fans have taken to Twitter to ask the People's Champion if he will be showing up at this year's event.

The movie star is often very active on social media and a recent conversation with former high school football star Eric LeGrand has given fans their biggest indication about the Rock's presence at WrestleMania.

LeGrand is the 2017 recipient of the Warrior Award and will be present at the WWE Hall of Fame induction ceremony to receive the accolade.

He has met with the Rock before and by the content of the Great One's tweet, he has shown a lot of respect towards the lifelong WWE fan.

Claiming that "we're trying to get down there" once again shows that the Brahma Bull intends on being at WrestleMania.

Whether or not his hopes ad the hopes of countless WWE fans materialise is something that will only be made clear during the show itself.

If the Rock does make it to WrestleMania, it will be anyone's guess as to where he may fit into the show as his roles during WWE returns have differed greatly in recent years.

What will you get from the Great One?

Since WrestleMania XXIX, Whenever the Rock has appeared, there has been no previous context to what his role would be.

WrestleMania XXX saw him open the show alongside Hulk Hogan and Stone Cold Steve Austin in what was an unannounced segment.

He appeared alongside UFC fighter Ronda Rousey at WrestleMania 31 to face off against the Authority while he had an intense confrontation with Bray Wyatt last year.

The Rock always creates WrestleMania moments when he does arrive and he could be the perfect man to introduce a new star on the biggest night of the year, but WWE will have to get him there first.
