Leicester City are in dreamland following Tuesday night's 2-0 win over Sevilla.

By beating Jorge Sampaoli's side - who they lost 2-1 to in the first leg - the Foxes made history and progressed into the Champions League quarter-finals.

In the weeks since Claudio Ranieri's sacking, Leicester's players have rediscovered the destructive form that saw them win the Premier League under the Italian last season.

Rather than try to play possession football, Jamie Vardy and co. have gone back to basics by soaking up pressure and breaking on the counter-attack.

From playing in the Championship three years ago to reaching the 2016/17 Champions League quarter-finals, it really has been an incredible journey for Leicester's players.

And they've been rewarded for their dramatic rise with some huge upgrades on FIFA. Bar Danny Simpson, every player's rating has increased since FIFA 13.

Using their ratings when FIFA 17 was first released last September, let's take a look at how Leicester's players have grown over the past few years.

LEICESTER'S XI: FIFA 13 VS FIFA 17

KASPER SCHMEICHEL: 74 - 81

Kasper Schmeichel is now regarded as one of the Premier League's - if not Europe's - best goalkeepers thanks to his performances for Leicester.

Now 30-years-old, his 81 rating actually seems a bit low and should be nearer 83.

CHRISTIAN FUCHS: 77 - 77

Leicester left-back Christian Fuchs is as consistent on the pitch as he is on FIFA.

The Austrian actually dropped to 73 rated when he first joined Leicester in 2015 but has since risen back up to 77.

ROBERT HUTH: 77 - 80

Having joined Leicester in the summer of 2015, Robert Huth was an absolute rock throughout the club's title-winning season.

He's now rated 80 on FIFA 17, three higher than he was at Stoke City four years ago.

WES MORGAN: 69 - 79

Like Huth, Wes Morgan was incredible last campaign and is now rated 79 on FIFA 17 with 81 defending and 83 physical.

It's been a fairytale rise for the Jamaican, who was a little-known 69-rated centre-back when FIFA 13 was released.

DANNY SIMPSON: 76 - 75

As mentioned, only one Leicester player's rating has decreased since FIFA 13: Danny Simpson.

The 75-rated Englishman, who joined from Queens Park Rangers in 2014, is an average defender at best but does the job at right-back.

MARC ALBRIGHTON: 73 - 76

How Aston Villa must regret releasing Marc Albrighton back in 2014.

The 27-year-old has chipped in with some important goals Leicester - he scored the winner against Sevilla on Tuesday - and deserves to be a 76-rated gold player on FIFA 17.

DANNY DRINKWATER: 66 - 80

Danny Drinkwater has gone from strength to strength since joining Leicester from Manchester United back in 2012.

He was given a measly 66 rating on the following FIFA edition but, following last season's heroics, he's now one of the Foxes' highest-rated players.

NAMPALYS MENDY: 64 - 78

Were it not for the fact Onyinye Ndidi didn't feature on FIFA 13, Nampalys Mendy wouldn't have featured in this XI.

Regardless, since FIFA 13, Frenchman has progressed from 64 to 78 rated.

RIYAD MAHREZ: 58 - 85

Riyad Mahrez was rated 58 on FIFA once upon a time. Incredible.

Four years on FIFA 13 and the Algerian now boasts an 85-rated card having joined Leicester from Le Havre for a paltry £500,000 in 2014.

SHINJI OKAZAKI: 75 - 77

Shinji Okazaki's rise hasn't been particularly exciting since joining Leicester in 2015, but 77 rated still isn't bad for the Japanese striker.

He could be in for a downgrade on FIFA 18, though, having scored just three goals all season.

JAMIE VARDY: 67 - 82

Leicester's main man. From non-League striker to Premier League winner, Vardy's rise to prominence has been nothing short of sensational.

An 82 rating is about right for the 30-year-old, who was brilliant last season but has gone off the boil this time around.
