There’s no solid answer, and there probably won’t ever be but one thing the majority of fans can agree on is that The Rock is right up there with the best, and deserves to be included in the conversation.

We all have our favourite Rock moments and rivalries, and regardless of your thoughts on him leaving the WWE and transforming into the finest Hollywood star on the planet, the respect and admiration for him is still there.

While his greatest opponents is a topic that fans can discuss for days on end, we haven’t really heard the answer come from The Great One himself.

However, one of the ways The Rock continues to stay in touch with the younger audience is with his new YouTube channel and during a Q&A segment, he answered the question everyone wants to know, who his favourite opponents were throughout his WWE career.

TWO FAVOURITE OPPONENTS

While one comes as no real surprise – as it’s probably the first name every fan will come out with – the second isn’t one you’d instantly assume and it’s strange to see that he named Triple H before Stone Cold Steve Austin.

He said: “I have worked with the greatest of the greats in wrestling and I love all these guys.

“There’s two guys in pro wrestling in terms of wrestlers: one would have to be Triple H, and the other one would have to be Stone Cold Steve Austin.

“Both guys I love, both guys I respect [and] admire. They’re great friends to this day.”

There’s no denying that both feuds were incredible and play a big part in WWE’s history, but there have been plenty of rumours along the years that The Rock and The Game never really got along so it’s strange to see him included as a favourite.

That doesn’t seem to be the case now, though, as the two seemingly can’t stop praising each other on social media and have shared some brilliant on-screen interactions over the last few years.
