There has been some great golf being played at the Arnold Palmer Invitational. However, no one has been talking about that; they're talking about the alligators that have been seen roaming the course. In the first round, PGA Tour rookie Cody Gribble shockingly tapped a gator on the tail, scaring it back into the water. It was a very risky and daring move and it quickly became a viral highlight. In the second round, Jordan Spieth’s buddy Smylie Kaufman didn’t have a similar experience. In fact, he was scared out of his mind when he narrowly missed walking straight into one of the wild beasts. Then his caddy realized how close they were to it.Check out the priceless clip below.

His reaction, along with his caddy’s was absolutely perfect. He wanted no part of that gator.

It’s safe to say that Gribble and a number of Kaufman’s Tour friends are going to have some playful words for Kaufman after this.

This isn’t the first time Kaufman has showed that he’s not a fan of reptiles. He was viciously hit with a fake snake in the golf bag trick back in November.

That was downright mean. Most of us would have probably had the same exact reaction. He can never trust that group of friends again after that stunt.

While golfers on the PGA Tour live the good life, touring to some of the most beautiful spots to play a great game with insane prize money all year long, they also are in close quarters with a number of scary wild animals along the way at times.

Kaufman shot a plus-five 77 in the second round after posting a 78 in the first round for an underwhelming two-day score of plus-11 which placed him far below the cut line.

Charley Hoffman was the two-day leader going into the weekend with an impressive 10 strokes under par score. It remains to be seen if he will have any run-ins with alligators on Saturday or Sunday.

Most importantly, if he does, who would he react like: Gribble or Kaufman? That is the question.

Overall, whoever wins the tournament will enjoy a nice purse, but the Arnold Palmer Invitational has been about one thing and one thing only to this point: gators. Over the weekend, as the action heats up leading into Sunday's final round, it'll be interesting to see if the golfers become the focus once again.
