Scunthorpe have earned a £150,000 windfall on the back of Wolves securing their promotion back to the Premier League.
The fee relates to the deal which took former Iron striker Andy Keogh to Molineux in January 2007, with the Glanford Park club insisting on a number of add-ons as well as the £600,000 Wolves paid for the 22-year-old.
One of the clauses stipulated that Wolves would pay a further £150,000 if they were promoted, although 20% of the fee will have to be passed on to Leeds, another of Keogh's former clubs.
Scunthorpe could also pocket another £100,000 should the Republic of Ireland score five goals in Wolves' two remaining fixtures.
Meanwhile Jonathan Forte has returned to Scunthorpe following his loan spell with Notts County.
The 22-year-old scored eight goals in 18 appearances during two successful stints with the League Two side.
