With WrestleMania 33 edging closer, almost every prominent star on the WWE roster has plans for the event on April 2 in Orlando.

There are still some big names out there who have yet to be placed in matches, such as Samoa Joe and Sami Zayn, but there’s another giant on Monday Night RAW that has been stealing the show on many occasions but is yet to be included in any concrete plans.

BIG PLANS

It’s obvious that the higher-ups are impressed with Braun Strowman, and if they weren’t, he wouldn’t have had an incredible stint in the Royal Rumble, he wouldn’t have had a great feud and matches with Roman Reigns and he certainly wouldn’t have shared the ring with The Undertaker on two occasions.

Despite that, the assumption is that The Monster Among Men will be thrown into the Andre the Giant memorial battle royal – and win the match – with only four names confirmed for it so far.

While it’s obviously a big honour to capture that trophy and etch his name into history, you can’t help but feel a little underwhelmed, especially after months of rumours suggested Strowman would enjoy a huge WrestleMania.

Although that might not be the case right now, Triple H revealed on Peter Rosenberg’s Cheap Heat podcast that despite not having any idea of what Strowman could be doing at the Grandest Stage of Them All, the WWE still has big plans in store for him, even if it’s after the event.

POST-WRESTLEMANIA PUSH?

He said: “Yeah, I’m not 100% sure exactly the plan. Look, I can’t imagine…this is the time of year that everybody is so busy.

“I haven’t been…Vince has been laying out a lot of this and I haven’t been around for a lot of it because we’ve kind of been running in different directions, so to speak, with a lot of our projects and stuff, so I haven’t had the exact conversation with him.

“I’m imagining, though, he has got a lot of stuff behind him. I can’t imagine we’re going to just let that fall off and, surely, that there are big plans for him on the other side. I know that.”

While it’s disappointing that his WrestleMania plans are unclear, it’s great to hear that the company is still big on him and still has plans for him in the future.

He’s not your average big guy, and alongside Baron Corbin over on SmackDown LIVE, he’s shown great improvement in the ring, on the microphone and with his physique as well.

He has it all going for him, so you probably can’t rule out a championship feud for him later this year.
