Here's a case of David vs. Goliath, but only with David attempting to set the parameters of the battle before the fight starts.Gennady Golovkin, one of the stars of boxing and among the few fighters who can headline a pay-per-view event anymore, recently said Billy Joe Saunders was likely among his next fights. After dispatching Daniel Jacobs last month, GGG said his goal is to unify all the belts in the middleweight division. That means he would be taking on Saunders of Welwyn Garden City, who holds the WBO middlewight belt.Rumors have circulated that June 10 could be the date for the fight, but that date is also a possibility for the spectacle that could pit Conor McGregor against Floyd Mayweather.Saunders has issued an ultimatum to GGG's team. Along with promoter Frank Warren, Saunders says the deadline is Friday to strike a deal for the fight. Here's a look at the video, which was released on Twitter on Monday:

"Still no hear back from Golovkin," Saunders said in the video. "I've got til the end of the week ... to start looking elsewhere.

"Listen, I'm willing to go to Kazakhstan and have a fight. No big deal.

"It seems to me, when I'm all fat and blown up and out of shape, everybody seems to want to have a piece. But when I'm in shape and ready with time on my hands to get fit and look good, people need a rest. I don't know if it's old age catching up, but my pen is in my hand ready to sign."

However, according to the divisional rankings from ESPN's Dan Rafael, ranks Saunders at just No. 5 in the middleweight division, and not many believe Saunders would give GGG a run for his money.

Saunders, 27, is 24-0 with 12 knockouts in his career. Meanwhile, the 34-year-old Golovkin is 37-0 with 33 knockouts.

Most boxing fans would prefer to see Golovkin go up against Mexican sensation Canelo Alvarez, who is set to fight May 6 against Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

Canelo is 41-1-1 with 34 knockouts, the only loss of his career came against Floyd Mayweather in 2013. He usually fights as a junior middleweight and Golovkin wants him to move up in weight for a fight, possibly this fall.

Still, Saunders will go along with the goading to try and get the fight done this week.

"Golovkin, if you got a pair of balls," he said, "let's sign and let's fight."
