Nigel Clough has called on his Derby players to lift themselves for one final push to ensure they will avoid relegation.
The 2-0 home defeat to promotion-chasing Reading means that the Rams are still not mathematically safe with two games remaining.
"It is just important that everybody picks themselves up for Saturday," said Clough after Reading inflicted a fourth defeat in five games on Derby.
Clough`s side, who are five points ahead of third-bottom Norwich, host already-relegated Charlton on Saturday before a trip to Watford on the final day of the season.
Cloigh added: "It is really irrelevant what has happened in the last 44 games or 18 months, however long, it is just about Saturday.
"I think we are still in a position where it will take a few strange results (for Derby to be relegated), and that's without us getting anything at all."
