Norwich manager Bryan Gunn admits his side`s survival chances are "in the hands of the gods now" ahead of the weekend`s fixture list.
City are not in action until they face Reading on Monday night and could start that game five points adrift if results on Saturday go against them.
Gunn told the club`s official website: "We now have the weekend to go through and I`ve told the players that whatever superstitions they have they`ll need them."
He added: "We are in the hands of the gods now.
"Coventry scoring a last-minute equaliser against Barnsley on Tuesday night was a little change in our fortune and we`ll see at 5pm on Saturday what the other results hold for us."
