Lloyd Doyley has committed his future to Watford by signing a new three-year contract with the Championship club.

The 26-year-old full-back has made in excess of 200 appearances for the Hornets since breaking through from the youth team in 2001.

Doyley, who has been at Vicarage Road since he was 11, will now remain with the club until at least the end of 2012 and will also be eligible for a testimonial in two years.

"It is good to get everything sorted and I now know where I'm going to be for the next three years," Doyley told Watford's official website.

"Back in January I wasn't too sure what was going to happen but I've been playing well since then and I've maintained my place at full-back so it always helps when you're playing consistently and we've been doing well."
