Burnley striker Robbie Blake is convinced the Clarets will secure the win they need on Sunday to make the Championship play-offs.

Owen Coyle's men head into their clash against Bristol City at Turf Moor knowing that victory will extend their season regardless of how other results around the division go.

And Blake, who was crowned the club's Player of the Year on Thursday, told the Claret's official website: "It's a once in a lifetime game for us basically, so we have to treat it like that and come out on top which I truly believe we will."

He added: "The lads realise how vital it is. It's a game we need to win and the game's we have needed to win this season we have.

"I don't want to tempt fate but we just have to stay focused and we'll be ready for it come 1.15 on Sunday.

"Burnley is a fantastic family club. I have a great relationship with the fans and it would be great to give something back to them."
