Since taking over an expanded role after Dwyane Wade went down with his latest injury, Rajon Rondo has performed at a borderline All-Star level for the Chicago Bulls.Over the last 10 games, he has averaged 13.1 points, 5.8 rebounds and 8.1 assists per contest.Further, he has shot 49.5 percent from the field in that span, up from his career mark of 46.3 percent. One of the most important parts of Rondo’s game is his swagger and attitude on the court. However, he has also showed a side in which he trolls opponents, either in the form of faking high-fives on free throws or through verbal assaults. On Sunday night, he invented a new hilarious way to react to a foul. Check out his reaction to a hard screen by DeMarcus Cousins in the clip below.

Called for an illegal screen late in the fourth quarter, it’s safe to say that Boogie was a bit annoyed when Rondo played dead after flopping to the floor.

At the end of the clip, rookie Paul Zipser went over to revive him in what was an hilarious exchange.

From a distance, it was worth a chuckle. But, looking up-close at Rondo’s facial expressions while he was on the floor, he relished the opportunity to play dead in a very realistic way.

If you didn't laugh at that, you're not human.

When they headed to the bench on the following timeout, Rondo shared a laugh with his teammate who saved his life.

As you can imagine, viewers took to Twitter and shared some hilarious thoughts, like the following guy.

Earlier in the game, Cousins shoved Rondo when he was sitting on the bench, and it seems as though the two players have some beef.

Remember that the two outspoken athletes played together on the Sacramento Kings last season.

The Bulls will need Rondo to perform (and flop) at a high-level down the stretch. At 38-39, Chicago has just five regular season games remaining and is currently in seventh place in the Eastern Conference.

However, they’re just 2.0 games out of the fifth spot and four other teams are within 3.0 games of them as 11 teams will need to fit into eight playoff spots.

Chicago has one of the easiest possible schedules in the final stretch, starting a three-game road trip against the New York Knicks before tilts against the Philadelphia 76ers and Brooklyn Nets. They will close out the regular season against the Orlando Magic and the Nets at home.

Therefore, those are five very winnable games. If they will get the job done and make the playoffs, Rondo will be one of the main reasons why.
