Eden Hazard gave the answer Chelsea fans were hoping for when quizzed on his future by Belgian broadcaster Play Sports on Saturday.

"There is nothing to say [on my future]. I take it game by game. I try to play as much as possible. That's it,” Hazard said, per the Evening Standard.

Hazard was further pushed for an answer: "Why do you want to put me in s**t?,” was his response.

"No, I am very well here. I have stuff to finish this year. I have a contract until 2020. Voila, for now I'm here."

The reason Hazard is answering questions about his future is due to reports linking him with a move to Real Madrid in the summer. After an impressive season at Stamford Bridge, it is thought that Los Blancos could add the Belgian to their extensive list of Galacticos.

Hazard wouldn’t be the first player to swap the Premier League for the Santiago Bernabeu. Real Madrid has provided the platform for many players to fulfil their careers (see: Cristiano Ronaldo and Gareth Bale), while others have been complete disasters. We’re looking at you, Jonathan Woodgate.

The team

Notable absences

Some notable exclusions from that team include Xabi Alonso, Lassana Diarra, and Thomas Gravesen.

Meanwhile, who can forget about that loan signing of Julian Faubert?!

Emmanuel Adebayor also spent half a season on loan at Real, even scoring a hat-trick in an 8-1 win over Almeria.

Hits and misses

So Real Madrid certainly know which attacking players to take from England. But defenders? They haven’t quite got that right.

Woodgate had to wait 13 months to make his Madrid debut, and he probably wishes he could have waited longer.

The centre-back scored an own goal and was sent off in a debut from hell. He lasted just two seasons at the Bernabeu before signing for Middlesbrough.

Madrid supporters will never forget about Woodgate. In 2007, he was voted the worst signing of the 21st century in a Marca poll, receiving 37.11 per cent of the all votes cast.
