UFC 210 will kick-off tomorrow night in Buffalo, New York on Saturday and some of the best mixed martial artists in the world will enter the cage. Saturday’s main event features Daniel Cormier and Anthony Johnson in a major bouts that will be the main highlight of the night.

Cormier is defending his light heavyweight title against Anthony Johnson and that should be the big story here, Jon “Bones” Jones has seemingly hijacked some of the hype surrounding that title fight heading into this weekend.

Jones is still under suspension for testing positive for a banned substance last year, when he was set to face Cormier for that very title. They also squared off at UFC 182, where Bones claimed victory in a five-round decision.

After that, they were supposed to fight again at UFC 200 before Jones tested positive for a banned substance. Cormier heard that Jones would be in town for the fight, the former champion is from Ithaca, he lit into the still-suspended fighter.

He mocked him for showing his face during the suspension period and also questioned marketers around Jones for planning an after party for someone who is a ‘recovering alcoholic.’ Needless to say this was a lot of criticism thrown by the champion.

Jones’ suspension will be lifted in July of 2017, if there are no setbacks, and he can resume fighting in the UFC. That seems to be just in time too as he caught wind of Cormier’s remarks and fired back, telling FloCombat that he’s coming for his belt.

He said:”I’m focused on what I have to do and that’s winning. Keeping my attention there kind of removes all the drama, but I’m sure that will all pick up again now that I’m here in Buffalo. I’m over the drama and I’m ready to get my s**t back.”

Those are the words of a man determined to make good on the otherworldly talent that fans have seen from him for years. Jones is not only intent on reclaiming his title, but he intends on going through Cormier to do it.

The New York Native hasn’t seen the inside of the Octagon since defeating Ovince Saint Preux in a unanimous decision for the interim-heavyweight title. Things will be quite different as he tries to round back into full UFC shape.

Although, the champ will have to win on Saturday night to make Jones’ plan come to fruition.
