The fighting world might currently be consumed by the "will they won't they" question surrounding Conor McGregor and Floyd Mayweather, but it would appear that there's still time for two of the other major players in sports entertainment to take centre stage.Anthony Joshua may have grown up watching Rock bottoms and people's elbows, but would never have envisaged being on the receiving end of a Twitter blow from Dwayne Johnson - aka The Rock.
Indeed, if you had to place two of the most likeable stars in sports entertainment in the same room, this pair would win plenty of votes as a match made in heaven. Both explosive in equal measure, Joshua has stormed his way to the top of the Heavyweight Boxing game, while The Rock is one of the most recognisable figures from the WWE.And the popular pair met last summer ahead of the boxer's world title bout with Dominic Breazeale, with The Rock offering tips on how the Englishman could conquer his opponent alongside comedian Kevin Hart thrown into the ring for good measure. But Joshua threw it back on Thursday to imply that it wasn't always plain sailing between him and the eight time WWE Champion - particularly when it came to food.Joshua took to Twitter to share a photo of the pair chatting, and mentioned how he asked for a taste of Johnson's chicken salad at the risk of being on the receiving end of The Rock's wrath.

Clearly tickled by the memory, Johnson replied explaining that his love for food far exceeds his feelings for AJ, and that the Champ was getting nowhere near anything The Rock was cooking.

And with the biggest bout of Joshua's career against Wladimir Klitschko fast approaching at the end of this month, the 27-year-old will no doubt be drawing on his meeting with a superstar who knows a thing or two about delivering on the biggest stage of all.
