In early March, Tyson Fury tweeted that he will return to the boxing ring in May. Today, it seems he has found an opponent for a fight - if he is allowed to return.

Fury was visiting the fitness expo FIBO in Cologne, Germany, when he came face to face with heavyweight boxer Manuel Charr, who challenged him to a fight.

In the video below, the German said: "Hey Tyson, you said you want to box again, here I am, I am the number 6 in the WBA ranking, you can fight me."

To which Fury responded: "I want to fight you diamond boy, whenever you want, though you're too small for me.

"When I'm back I'll fight you first, 100 per cent."

Charr then appeared to take a swipe at Fury's recent mental health issues, saying: "See you in the ring you 'mad man'."

Fury didn't take well to Charr's swipe and pushed him, which prompted an angry response from Charr and saw both boxers separated by their trainers.

Last September, Fury had to postpone a fight due to being 'medically unfit', as a result of depression and drug use. In October, the British Boxing Board of Control suspended Fury's boxing license.

FURY VS CHARR

Fury tweeted in March that his return fight would take place on 13 May 2017 and that he was speaking to Frank Warren - his promoter - about possible opponents.

However, the BBBC said that he was still banned, to which Tyson responded by saying he will seek a license from the Boxing Union of Ireland.

Warren told Reuters on March 7 that Fury has a 'few issues to sort out' before returning to the ring and that the future will be clearer after a hearing in May.
