When you think of Gary Neville, you think passion. You might also think fine analysis, for the former Manchester United right-back has forged a fine career as Sky Sports’ lead pundit."He's brilliant the way he explains things, and I think he is very respectful when he says what teams need to do better and what players need to do better in a game,” Arsenal’s Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain said about Neville’s style, per Sky Sports."I have taped [Arsenal matches on Sky Sports] before to watch it, definitely. I quite like to hear what he has to say because I do believe he knows what he's talking about.”But one thing you wouldn’t associate with the Class of ’92 graduate is goals.Neville managed just seven in his Man United career, which spanned 19 seasons. One of those came in Sir Alex Ferguson’s 1000th game in charge of the club, in a 2-1 win over Lyon in 2004.It would seem as if Man United missed a trick by not playing Neville up front, though, for he scored a brilliant goal in a recent charity football match.

Neville scored a beauty

Neville was in Singapore last week, where he launched his Cafe Football restaurant alongside partner and former teammate Ryan Giggs.

The pair took part in a football match against the locals during their stay, and the highlight was certainly Neville’s goal.

The 42-year-old produced an exquisite first-time flick to lob the goalkeeper. Check it out below.

Watch: Neville's 'best goal ever'

Of course, Neville would have been flagged for offside in a professional match. But it doesn’t take anything away from the finish.

The former England international wrote on Instagram: “Still got it!!!”

He then went on to call it his “best ever goal”, and it’s hard to argue with that assessment.

Neville reflects on Man United's season

Neville’s old team are in the midst of a season in which too many draws at Old Trafford - they’ve drawn nine matches at home - could cost them a top four finish.

"United have been a bit up and down,” Neville said, via Goal. “They've been inconsistent. They've dropped many points but I think the next couple of months will determine if the season was successful or not.

“It all depends on whether United can get into the Champions League."
