We all know from time to time botches happen in the WWE, but rarely do we see mistakes which could be life threatening or result in serious injury.

Charlotte Flair faced off against Nia Jax inside the ring this week in what is rumored to be her last match on Monday Night RAW before she is moved to SmackDown Live through the Superstar Shake-Up.

However, for The Queen, the bout almost ended with her picking up a significant injury as you see from watching the video of their match further down in this article.

Charlotte was hoisted on top of Nia Jax's shoulders for a shoulder breaker in the middle of the ring. The Genetically Superior Athlete was then dropped on Jax's knee to perform the move, but then was let go off completely in mid-air, which resulted in Charlotte hitting the top of her head hard on the ring canvas.

The referee then checked on the four-time RAW Women's champion as she laid on the canvas and, despite the heavy bump, she was okay.

Shortly after that heavy bump, Charlotte took another when she moonsaulted from the top rope to outside the ring where Jax was waiting to cushion her fall. The Hybrid Athlete wasn't in the correct position to catch The Queen, meaning she basically crashed face first on the floor below when she performed the move.

The Hybrid Athlete wasn't in the correct position to catch The Queen, meaning she basically crashed face first on the floor below when she performed the move. Despite the hard fall, Charlotte was able to finish the match but ultimately lost to Nia.

Just as she was receiving a significant push, botches like this could see Jax being pushed back down the card completely and out of any future title pictures if they keep occurring.

Botches like this can result in career-threatening injuries like we have seen in the past with former superstars like Stone Cold Steve Austin. Nia hasn't been wrestling long, but she must improve and eliminate these botches otherwise she puts her fellow superstars at risk.

She didn't look too happy at the end of the match as she probably realized the mistakes she had made, but Jax is also an excellent raw talent that has a lot of potential. Hopefully, she is able to learn and improve from this mishap, otherwise, she could see her WWE career end very quickly.
