Fans' farewell to Ninian Park

Cardiff fans bade an emotional farewell to Ninian Park on Saturday when visiting the famous old stadium for the final time.

The Bluebirds will kick-off the 2009/10 season in their new Cardiff City Stadium and supporters were joined by players and managers past and present to pay their respects to the club's home for the previous 99 years.

Former City manager Eddie May said: "I had the best years of my footballing career here and this ground holds so many wonderful memories for me. The supporters we superb here and they really helped us achieve our promotion and championship win."
