Smackdown Live was rocked two nights after WrestleMania as it inherited two of the most popular NXT superstars available in Tye Dillinger and Shinsuke Nakamura.One week later and the show would follow their arrivals up with more new faces as the second night of superstar shake up took place.

A tough act to follow

RAW set the standard on Monday night, claiming stars like Bray Wyatt, Miz and Maryse and the Intercontinental Champion Dean Ambrose from Smackdown.

However Smackdown fired back on Tuesday as 10 new faces were announced as a part of the blue brand - even if two were just announced as coming soon.

The first big arrival on Smackdown also opened the show as United States Champion Kevin Owens revealed that Smackdown was now the new Kevin Owens Show.

He would be swiftly followed by his long time rival and former best friend Sami Zayn - a superstar who has been tipped for a move to Smackdown for several months.

The big names would keep on coming for the show as the Women's division was given a huge shot of life after losing two instrumental figures.

Alexa Bliss and Mickie James may have switched over to Monday nights, but Smackdown announced the arrival of two second generation superstars.

Tamina and Charlotte both join the Smackdown Live roster in a bid to further improve their women's division.

A third female superstar would be announced and it now appears that Lana may be entering the ring in a competitive sense as she was given her own 'coming soon' promotion.

The tag team division on Smackdown, after losing former champions Heath Slater and Rhyno would gain Primo and Epico of the Shining Stars.

While the relatively unsuccessful team from RAW would be the only ones to feature on the show, the bigger announcement came later.

The longest reigning WWE Tag Team Champions in history, the New Day will also be coming to Smackdown.

Three solid mid level superstars would also be announced as part of the roster as Jinder Mahaal made his Smackdown Live debut on Tuesday night.

Former United States Champion Rusev would also be announced for the blue brand, as would high flying Sin Cara.

Sin Cara moving to Smackdown also ended fans hopes of seeing him re- connect with his former tag team partner Kalisto who was traded to RAW on Monday night.
