Wladimir Klitschko is set to fight Anthony Joshua at Wembley Stadium come April 29 in front of 90,000 people.

He knows that this fight is a big deal, especially after 18 months of inactivity.

Speaking on his chances in the fight, Klitschko was in a good mood, but knows it will be tough.

He said: “This fight is 50-50.

“Can the younger guy make it? Has the older guy still got it? Question marks are making this event really interesting. I’ve never had a pause for a year and a half. Is it bad? Is it good? Will I have rust? I want the answers myself."

The last time Klitschko fought was in November 2015, when he lost at the hands of Tyson Fury.

A gap this long between fights probably isn't the best idea for anybody, especially considering that in this time, Klitschko has turned 41.

He argues that he doesn't feel his age, however.

“One thing I believe is I don’t feel my age. It’s not empty words. I am getting in the best shape of my life, physically and mentally. I don’t see I’m stuck and not improving, even in a sport I’ve been involved with for so long. That’s what interests and excites me."

Indeed, Klitschko is keeping himself in the best possible condition for his fight against Joshua, and is certainly looking to beat him despite the age-gap and Joshua's massive home advantage.

Klitschko then did something out of the ordinary. He trash-talked Joshua.

When asked to predict the outcome of the fight, Klitschko simply raised his fists. Nodding towards them one after the other, saying: “Funeral or hospital? Hospital or funeral? I don’t need many punches to knock a person out."

This rare moment of trash-talk from the big man shows that Klitschko is eagerly anticipating this fight - looking forward to stepping into the ring once more after a long time away.

Boxing fans will be looking forward to this big fight, too.

Klitschko is known for his aggression, and his ability to win via knockout, and it will be interesting to see if his time away, and indeed his loss against Fury, has blunted his arsenal, or if they have improved his game.

It's not long to wait for the fight now, though, as April 29 is fast approaching. Who knows what the outcome will be?

Do you think Klitschko will beat Joshua? Or is Joshua just too good at the moment? Let us know in the comments.
