Notts County assistant boss Dave Kevan accepts that he and manager Ian McParland must be patient as they bid to make further signings.

Ricky Ravenhill, Neal Bishop and Craig Westcarr have all recently agreed moves to Meadow Lane but Kevan knows that there may be a wait before others can follow.

He told his club's official website: "From our point of view it is a case of 'so far so good'. We're happy with the business we`ve done but we may have to be a little patient now."

He added:"There`s still a long way to go before players even think about returning to pre-season training and where they want to be."
